Cookie Policy

Last updated: 10 June 2026

1. Who we are

This Cookie Policy explains how Pole (“we”, “us”) uses cookies and similar technologies on this website. The operator of this website acts as the data controller within the meaning of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). The controller’s identity and contact details are provided in the legal information section in the footer of this website.

2. What are cookies

Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device. They are widely used to make websites work, to keep them secure, and to remember your preferences. Some cookies are deleted when you close your browser (session cookies); others remain on your device for a defined period (persistent cookies).

3. Cookies we use

We use the following cookies on this website:

  • ipr_session — strictly necessary. Identifies your browsing session so that signing in, your shopping cart and your purchases work correctly. Stored for up to 14 days.
  • Authentication data — strictly necessary. Keeps you signed in to your account after you log in. Removed when you sign out or when the session expires.
  • cookie_consent — functional. Stores the cookie choice you made in the consent banner so we do not ask you again. Stored for up to 12 months.

4. Legal basis

Strictly necessary cookies are used on the basis of our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) in providing a functioning, secure website, and — where the cookie is required to deliver a service you explicitly requested, such as signing in or purchasing — on the basis of contract performance (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Under the EU ePrivacy rules, strictly necessary cookies do not require consent.

All other (non-essential) cookies are used only with your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you give or refuse in the cookie banner. Refusing non-essential cookies does not limit your use of this website.

5. Managing and withdrawing your consent

You can change or withdraw your cookie consent at any time on the Cookie Settings page (Documents → Cookie Settings). Withdrawal applies from that moment on and does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.

You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings at any time. Note that blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent parts of the website (such as signing in or the shopping cart) from working.

6. Retention

Cookies are stored for no longer than the periods listed in section 3. Your consent choice is retained for up to 12 months, after which we will ask you again.

7. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify and erase your personal data, the right to restrict or object to its processing, and the right to data portability. Where processing is based on consent, you have the right to withdraw it at any time. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, in particular in the EU member state of your habitual residence.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time, for example when the cookies we use change. The current version is always available on this page; the date of the last update is shown above.

9. Contact

For any questions about this Cookie Policy or about how your personal data is processed, please contact the website operator using the contact details provided in the footer of this website.
